Introduce the animals slowly and supervise the public with our staff who are used to dealing with the animals.

People getting injured by animals e.g. bitten or scratched

Staff from the Mobile Ark will supervise animal handling and ensure that it is being done correctly so as not to injure animals or visitors.

Animals escaping

The animals shall be kept in a contained cage or held by the Mobile ark staff who will be supervising any handling.

People picking up germs from handling the animals

Visitors are asked to wash their hands with instant hand sanitiser provided, after any animal handling. Daily animal health checks are also in place.

People getting injured by any equipment e.g. animal cages and heat lamps

Equipment is well maintained and kept in good order. All equipment is checked at start of animal handling session. “Warning” signs for the heat lamps are in place.

Insurance Information:
We have public liability insurance for up to £5,000,000 and employer's liability insurance up to £10,000,000.
